NORTHERN BOUNTY
Steel Fishing Vessel Design
Nav Arc Marine developed the design for a custom steel crab fishing vessel commissioned by a local seafood buyer. The vessel was tailored for the demanding Pacific crab fishery, incorporating a durable steel hull, an efficient working deck for trap handling, and optimized gear storage. Nav Arc Marine prepared the 3D vessel model, general arrangement, and structural drawings, with the design receiving Transport Canada Marine Safety approval prior to construction at an international shipyard.
CCGH SIYAY
Hovercraft Structural Support
Nav Arc Marine developed a structural repair drawing package for the Canadian Coast Guard hovercraft CCGH Siyay, supporting repairs to damaged hull plating, frames, bulkheads, and internal structure. The project included 3D modeling, detailed structural repair drawings, and typical repair details to restore structural integrity. Nav Arc Marine also conducted site visits for verification and coordinated engineering review for ABS approval, enabling compliant repairs to this critical Coast Guard hovercraft asset.
SEA LADY 1
FRP Fishing Vessel Design
Nav Arc Marine developed the design for a custom fiberglass fishing vessel commissioned by a local seafood buyer for operation in the Hecate Strait Area A fishery. The vessel was designed for demanding offshore conditions, incorporating a durable fiberglass hull, an efficient working deck for trap handling, and optimized gear storage. Nav Arc Marine prepared the 3D vessel model, general arrangement, and structural drawings, with the design receiving Transport Canada Marine Safety approval prior to construction at an international shipyard.
BRB 36 LANDING CRAFT
Aluminum LC Design
Nav Arc Marine developed the design for a 36-foot aluminum landing craft for a shipyard located in Ontario. The vessel was designed to provide a versatile and durable work platform suitable for cargo transport, shoreline access, and general marine operations. Nav Arc Marine prepared the 3D vessel model, general arrangement, and structural drawings, creating a complete design package to support efficient aluminum fabrication and construction at the shipyard.
Iceberg Bay Ramp
60' x 18' Steel Ramp Design
Nav Arc Marine, in collaboration with Campbell River Engineering, designed a 60′ x 18′ marine loading ramp rated for an 80-tonne rock truck. Scope included structural design, load analysis, and production drawings for heavy equipment transfer between shore and vessel.
Specializing in heavy marine infrastructure design in British Columbia, Nav Arc Marine supports shipyards, marine contractors, and industrial operators with engineered ramp systems, barges, and loadout solutions for high-capacity equipment handling across coastal and remote sites.
